NYLON Surgical Suture Material is a sterile, non-absorbable monofilament suture material made of polyamide 6 and polyamide 6.6, intended for soft tissue closure. The smooth surface of the suture allows easy passage through tissues, reducing friction and tissue trauma. The monofilament structure also helps minimize bacterial accumulation. It must NOT be used in neurosurgery or cardiovascular surgery.
