MYGIS is a resorbable Type I collagen membrane intended for use in areas of bone or alveolar defects. The membrane creates a barrier between the regeneration site and the surrounding soft tissues, helping to maintain space for new bone formation.
Key Specifications
Sizes: 15 × 20 mm, 20 × 30 mm, 30 × 40 mm
Biodegradation period: approximately 4–6 months
Intended application: Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR)
Key Properties
Dense collagen fiber structure with high resistance to enzymatic degradation.
Small pore size and high structural density help prevent soft tissue ingrowth into the bone graft area.
Good biocompatibility and integration with the surrounding soft tissues.
After hydration, the membrane remains soft and flexible and adapts well to irregular anatomical surfaces.
High tensile strength reduces the risk of tearing and makes the membrane suitable for clinical techniques requiring enhanced stability.
Clinical Applications Specified in the Product Materials
Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR);
“Sausage” technique;
Open healing technique;
Repair of maxillary sinus membrane perforations;
Coverage of bone defects with primary wound closure.
